Have $5K to Spare?

Have $5K to Spare?

I don't know about you, but I love Ms. Melania Trump's choice for the President-elect victory acceptance speech. It had it all. The symbolic suffrage white, the modern vibe,  the clean and fresh feel: unadorned whole that simply screamed sophisticated 21st century woman..

SS2017 Trends and More

My Fav collection of the year

I can't  believe 2016 is over. Scary! Ahh but what a year it was for the Industry. So in the last eight days I will post my favorites from the runways. Do you think those trends would be enough to get the fashion industry out from its rut? Will see ... but it is a push in the right direction.

Loewe was, in my humble opinion, miles ahead from the competition. It get to my no. 1.

From the Fashion Runaways to Home Decor, Art Commercialism at its best

Runaways to Home Decor
Remember the amazing Sophie Theallet Fall 2016 RTW collection from NYFW,  (well in case you don't, here is the link to my review of it). I continue to be obsessed with it, so as I was looking through my virtual clipboard for a new project, I realized that my obsession with the deeply feminine and uber classy style of her fall collection has somehow impacted my color palette preferences not for clothes but for furnishing and home decor. I am not that fond of either gray patterns or yellow shades, but live and learn as they say.

Get the Look for Prom: Maticevski FRW'16

Wow! I am in love with the Tony Maticevski 2016 Fall Ready-to-Wear Collection. Who wouldn't be. It is sassy, intellectual, and edgy all at once. The perfect style for an modern urban social-media-iate, especially one that is going to the prom this spring.

Rebel with a cause: Not your Granny's jeans

SS2016 trends: radical denim

True, there is nothing more 'ordinary' or 'everyday-casual' than denim. We all go there time and time again. But for the last few seasons young and established designers alike are turning to yes! denim to make a point that there is nothing 'ordinary' in RADICAL DENIM.

Coral on my mind

Coral on my mind

Coral on my mind by fl4u featuring Carolina Herrera

Coral is making a splash on the runaways -- look no further than Carolina #Herrera full skirt perfections in the collage above -- and for a good reason. It is a cheerful way to get noticed if

#NYFW: that's a wrap but not over

Christian Siriano Fall' 2016

I can't believe that February is almost over, wow! Same for #NYFW! and although the fashion-world and its glamorous posey have now shimmed out to London and Milan I'm personally ready to digest it and take a breath. (Ahh, I want a vacation ..., don't you)?

#mustTrend: Mix and Match clashing patterns

Mix and Match

Black and White is any shape, form, and pattern is the #mustTrend and for good reason. It is simply timeless. The twist this season is to mix and match clashing patterns in unexpected ways: stripes and dots in the same outfit is my favorite.Keeping it in black and white and with a heavy dose of black as the foundation (i.e. pants, dress, skirts) and piling up some cool accessories is a crowd-pleaser.

Confessions of a Polyvore-Addict

I am very excited as I just completed my 30 sets collaboration with Lattori. It was a very interesting project, to say the least. But what made it truly special was that it coincided with my own Polyvore anniversary. If you've ever visited this blog you know that I am a #polyvore-addict and very, very happy at it.
