I looked in my closet this morning and realized that I have to get busy transitioning for fall. Grrr.! Two things I find extremely depressing: the end of summer (OK, we are not there yet but those thoughts are starting to steer up) and evaluating my closet. The conversion of both this morning was a bad start to the day but I turned it around by thinking about my favorite fall trend: Yellow makeup details!

Of course you have to match it with the proper outfit, and that outfit cannot be ordinary. Yellow make up details + blue jeans for a Starbucks run will be a colossal fail. But a jazzy party outfit or a striking fall coat with intricate details will make you a street fashion sensation.
And one last note of caution! It is a fabulous trend but you must exercise restraint and do it with moderation and grace. Loading up on yellow on the eyes, lips, and nails at the same time will bring a major flashback to the Adams family. So, pair it right and let see those fabulous selfies.
