So the highly anticipated unveiling of the Balmain for H&M collaboration is a fait accompli. Pop Sugar and Vogue both ran an editorials with the lookbook, so without further ado here it is in its full glory:

I looked in my closet this morning and realized that I have to get busy transitioning for fall. Grrr.! Two things I find extremely depressing: the end of summer (OK, we are not there yet but those thoughts are starting to steer up) and evaluating my closet. The conversion of both this morning was a bad start to the day but I turned it around by thinking about my favorite fall trend: Yellow makeup details!

New Wave Glam: dress up your flats

I am experimenting with a trend that has fascinated me for a while: dressy looks with summer sandals. Granted, this one is a bit extreme but it drives the point that nothing is taboo this season. Hurray for braking-away-from-convention fashion!!!
