We had daylight saving last night, so for me historically that trivial event marks the begging of spring. Yet, with the bougainvillea already in bloom here in LA LA Land (and the surroundings areas) and temperatures in the mid to high 80s, it is anything but spring: we went from winter right into summer.  Now I may not get tulips

Falling into Fall! Ok I don't mean that literally -- but it is that time of the year when going for a jog, a long walk, or taking up a trail in the Santa Monica Mountains is the thing to do. The summer heat is no more, and I don't know about you, but I want to be on the move. And what better way to transition from the sandals and flipflops -- than a pair of to-die-for sneakers.(A confession is in order: no matter how comfortable those heals are -- they were not made for walking ... in the woods.
