It is Official! Karl Legerfeld owns the world, the fashion world that is ..

Fashion week 2017 is over and so is 2017 for that matter (December?@!), and one thing is clear:.Karl Lagerfeld owns the fashion world, free and clear! 

His world takeover started with the gray eeriness of his 2017 Fall Show

and culminated in the water spectacle of the 2018 Spring/Summer Collection. And this one truly has it all. The nod to the past and all the tweed suits your senses could take...

But they came with a modern edgy twist, it is 2017 after all!

We also had the somber side of things: I don't know, as if Mademoiselle Coco herself had a new-goth weekend lapse into oblivion  ...  it was like if Gabrielle Chanel and Dali had wanted to fuse their views of the world and project it into the future. Ohhhh and the result was fabulous!

 

Followed by the softest of pastels layered by water and pearls, and clear-plasticky things .. and glitter

In a reversal of time, space, and colors Karl then took as to a blue psychedelic segment to bridge that 70s period in the abyss of fashion.

Only to connect it  to where it had all started:

straightlined to where we are now, at the end of 2017....

Mademoiselle would be proud .... thank you, Karl Lagerfeld!
