Yes, this post is a deviation from my usual ones. But since it is about #DIY I thought it is appropriate that I wear the #ootd. So, here is the back story... My daughter and I ventured east looking for a place to shoot the post when we saw a big sign for "Wine Tasting" as we were crossing the intersection of Vineyard and Foothill in Rancho Cucamonga. We were both quite puzzled. Now if you are from the LA area you probably have a vague idea of  where Rancho Cucamonga is (that is all I had until the other day), but for anyone else out there -- it is a nice and quite neighborhood about an hour East of Los Angeles.

Happy #Saturday everyone! I hope that you all had a very productive week and are looking forward to a great long-weekend ahead. I certainly do. It was yet another crazy week and just the idea of some upcoming R&R was enough to make me giddy all day yesterday. So as I was winding down my last project for the week I had to go over the collection of photos, clips, and items I had collected when I realized a somewhat eerie trend in my virtual 'moodboards' book: photos depicting what it would be best described as the quintessential Old World Glamour apartment you would find in Paris and Madrid.

CowPunk revival: Fausto Puglisi Spring 2016 Collection

This year I have been obsessed with Fausto Puglisi's designs (some of my styling are here, here, here and here) so, not surprisingly I have to vote for his #MFW #SS2016 catwalk presentation as the it show in Milan. Against the backdrop of some spectacular shows he still managed to steal the spotlight with a show that blended effortlessly cow punk with Gianni Versace's 80s beloved pop culture sensations.
